Alice is an orange planet trainee who appears in volume 3 and holds first place in the water guide business. initially, she comes across as standoffish and snotty, but her interactions with akaris mood lighten her up over time. despite being just a trainee when akari and aika are apprentices, alice has shown remarkable talent for rowing that may surpass both of them. this is why orange planet scouted her despite her age. though she comes from a rival business to akari and aika, she often joins them in joint practice sessions and enjoys their company. alice speaks in a deadpan manner and frequently uses the word "dekkai" (meaning "huge"). aika commonly addresses her as "kohai-chan," which means "junior" said in a friendly manner.
