Sorata Kanda
Kouhai-kun, Soranyan, 神田 空太
The main character in the story is a male named Sorata. He's a second-year student studying under Suiko and lives in room 101 at Sakurasou Dormitory. Due to his high academic performance and artistic talents, many of his dormmates are exceptional, making him feel ordinary compared to them. Despite this, he is entrusted with the care of Mashiros daily life by Chihiro, although initially hesitant, he eventually becomes accustomed to it.

In the third volume, Sorata realizes that he is in love with Mashiro.
In the ninth volume, he and Mashiro officially become a couple.
In the eighth volume, Sorata confesses to Mashiro.
It is heavily implied in the last volume of the novel that Sorata and Mashiro had a child.
