One member of Zeon's military force, Sol, was stationed at a remote base with several others. As White Base approached the location of this base, Cuaran proposed a plan to destroy the Gundam by planting explosives on it. Sol joined Cuaran's team in executing this plan and managed to attach six bombs onto the Gundam. However, Amuro was able to remove all of them before they detonated. Afterwards, the group drove past in civilian clothing and wished White Base crew good luck.
