Chimney is a granddaughter of Sea Train conductor Kokoro and owner of Gonbe, a rabbit who thinks it's a cat. She quickly becomes fond of the Straw Hat Pirates when they meet her outside Water Seven. Franky nicknames her "shrimp." Chimney has an exceptional ability to notice things that others miss, such as Luffy being wedged between buildings after Rob Lucci knocked him out and finding secret passageways in Enies Lobby's Tower of Justice. Along with Gonbe, she sneaks onto the prototype Sea Train, Rocketman, and accompanies the Straw Hats, Franky Family, and Galley-La foremen to Enies Lobby. Later, Chimney helps Luffy find a secret passageway that Spandam, Lucci, and Robin used on their way to the Gate of Justice. It is revealed that Kokoro is a mermaid, which could mean that Chimney has latent mermaid abilities as well. Despite not exhibiting any mermaid characteristics, she was able to save Luffy from drowning off-screen while resisting an overwhelming current from several whirlpools in front of the Gate of Justice. Currently, Chimney is located in Water Seven. In a Volume 45 SBS, Oda confirms that Chimney is indeed 1/4 mermaid and has exceptional swimming abilities due to this abnormality.
