The main antagonist in the first three episodes, Mason, was an executive in GENOM corporation who killed Dr. Stingray and took his boomer technology. Despite some speculation about Mason's past actions, many details remain unknown. It is believed that he may have transferred his consciousness into a boomer body before his death in episode 3. If this were the case, it would explain how he was able to possess the ultimate boomer and use its powers to destroy eight Genom branch towers with just one thought. Largo eventually emerged as the primary villain at the end of the series.
