Keitarō Urashima is a 20-year-old student who has been struggling to get into Tokyo University for three years in order to fulfill a childhood promise made to a girl fifteen years ago. Despite his poor luck and bad study habits, he remains determined to succeed. However, his lack of understanding and ability to grasp the material has caused him to fail the exams each time, making him a third-year ronin. As a result, Keitarō's grandmother grants him ownership of the Hinata Inn, a girls dormitory. Unfortunately, his clumsiness causes him to accidentally see the girls naked or touch them inappropriately, leading to trouble with the residents at the inn. Despite these difficulties, Keitarō remains well-meaning and friendly, which eventually wins over all of the girls' hearts.
