Dantalion is a demon from the world of demons who desires to become king after the current ruler steps down. he ranks 71st among solomon's 72 pillars and leads 36 armies under his command. in their first encounter, he tells william that he has finally found someone with king solomons soul. it is later revealed in chapter one that dantalion possesses a contract with the late king.
