A bishōnen teacher who frequently spends time with Nitta and is one of Mahora's secret mages during the Kyoto Arc. He was tasked with safeguarding students on their field trip to Kansai, but he lacks fighting skills as per his own admission. During the third day of the school festival, he was among the mage teachers who escaped being hit by Manas time-transporting bullets. In episode 18 of the anime, all the teachers searched for his contact lenses with Takahata eventually finding it. The Del Ray manga translation in Volume 9 reveals that this character is a tribute to Kentarō Miura's "Serpico" from Berserk by Ken Akamatsu.
