Suzaku is a phoenix-like demon who serves as the final member of the Four Beasts. His powers are lightning-based and he uses a flute to control Makai Bug-infected humans in Human World. After his fellow Saint Beasts were killed, Suzaku sent these infested individuals to kill Keiko Yukimura upon receiving information from his pet demon bird Murugu. Despite facing challenges against Suzaku, including his ability to split himself into seven people and lightning attacks, Yusuke managed to damage one of Suzakus antennas, causing the latter's attacks to miss slightly. When Keiko was about to be killed and with no Reiki, Yusuke nearly sacrificed himself to use his life energy to employ the Shotgun technique to kill all seven Suzakus. Before succumbing, he expressed regret and acknowledged Yusukes belief in protecting people. This made him the most honorable of the Four Sacred Beasts. In terms of appearance, Suzaku's haircut resembles that of Jareth the Goblin King from Labyrinth. He is also an Upper C class demon.
