Urawa has been revealed to have scored highest in an exam, and it's rumored that he possesses abilities to see the future. However, there's no confirmation if he used these powers for cheating. Despite having feelings for Ami Mizuno, Urawa is hesitant to confess them due to shyness. He gets entangled in the Rainbow Crystal storyline because of his possession of the Yellow Rainbow Crystal, known as Bumbo. Additionally, he's one of the few characters who openly acknowledges Sailor Mercury's true identity, which may be a result of his powers.
