In the anime series "Sailor Moon R," Esmeraude owned a droid named Marzipan. She summoned her to a cake shop called Maxi-5, where she disguised herself as a human waitress in order to observe and wait for the Dark Henge to fill up with dark power. However, Mamoru recognized that the "waitress" was not what she seemed and attacked her. In response, Marzipan dropped her disguise and revealed her true form, which allowed her to turn her hands into piping tubes and fire out icing that turned objects into giant pastries and sweets. When the Sailor Senshi were hit by this attack, they became trapped in giant pastries and their bodies became fragile like sugar candies. It was discovered that Marzipan's body was made of a substance similar to sugar, making her vulnerable against water attacks such as Shine Aqua Illusion. Ultimately, Sailor Moon destroyed Marzipan with Moon Princess Halation.
