Mesousa is an anime character who resembles cute mascots but has severe depression. His lack of thumbs makes everyday tasks challenging, exacerbating his depression. Despite being practically useless, he serves as the slapstick of the series and gets blown up or has his legs broken without complaint. He seems to be infatuated with Ichijou, and his "tastiness" stat is a reference to Menchi from Excel Saga. Mesousa is not Becky's pet but rather her companion who helps her in class, such as holding the footstool for her while she stands on it to write on the blackboard. His name comes from the combination of "meso meso," a Japanese psychomime for whimpering, and "usagi" (兎, "usagi"?), which means rabbit in Japanese.
