Ayaka was once Dougs subordinate/partner in GPO but is now a captain in Wongs unit and responsible for capturing Kurau. She seems determined to advance in rank at any cost. Despite this, her father was the head of GPO until he was assassinated. As a result, Ayaka prefers to be called by her first name and one of her goals is to uncover the truth about her fathers death. Although she keeps track of her former partner Doug, she trusts no one with this secret. She and Wong seem to have developed a relationship based on mutual respect.
