Nodoka is Yui's childhood friend and confidant, who serves on the school's student council. She is a well-behaved, intelligent girl who finds the light music club's behavior unusual and gets easily irritated with Ritsu when she forgets to fill out application forms for the club. Nodoka shares the same class as Mio in their second year, where Mio values her friendship greatly since she is the only person Mio knows in that class. In her third year, Nodoka becomes the student council president.
