Chao is a young girl from a village that was being terrorized by evil forces known as Terror and Plague. Desperate for help, she left her home in search of the powerful Tiger Thief. Unfortunately, on her journey, she nearly lost her life at his hands before being saved by Goku. After recovering, Chao asked Goku to use his incredible strength to save her village from the clutches of Terror and Plague. Together with Goku, they returned to the village just in time to prevent a terrible fate for baby Chenshi. Despite being two weeks old, he was unable to say his name when called, which made him an easy target for Terror and Plague's wicked plan to seal him inside the Gourd of Mist. Goku, disgusted by what they were doing, confronted Terror and Plague. However, before he could do any harm, he was absorbed into the gourd, leaving Chao and her village in peril. But fear not! With his incredible strength, Goku managed to break free from the gourd and defeat Terror and Plague, saving the village once again.
