Nigai was a Kumogakure shinobi who embarked on a secret mission to acquire a kinjutsu from Sugi Village. During this operation, the mercenary group known as Nokizaru arrived and attempted to capture them. Initially, Nigai advised his teammates to disregard the taunts of the enemy. However, when the Raikage was criticized for fleeing, he turned around and engaged in combat with his adversaries. He employed a technique that caused him to grow immensely large before detonating.
