Narita, Ennoshita, and Kinoshita were second-year students who struggled to keep up with the training when Coach Ukai returned. As a result, they left the volleyball club. However, after some time had passed, they realized that they still wanted to play volleyball, even though Coach Ukai was no longer there. Ennoshita referred to them as disgraceful second-year students.
