Kimigiku(君菊) belongs to a shinobi clan working under the Senhimes family. Soon after Haradas patrol group meets Nagumo Kaoru for the first time, he uses the reward from his task to treat his fellow captains to dinner in Shimabara, the courtesan district. Kimigiku serves them dressed as a courtesan that night. They discuss how Chizuru resembles Kaoru and when the captains suggest dressing Chizuru in women's clothing, Kimigiku willingly accepts their request. While they are enjoying themselves, Kimigiku spots Kazama and Amagiri and is shown wearing her shinobi attire during the day while reporting to Senhime about his group of oni returning to Kyoto. After Heisuke and Saito leave with Itous group, Senhime and Kimigiku visit Chizuru at Shinsengumi headquarters to reveal that Kazama is in Kyoto. When Kimigiku's true identity as a servant and bodyguard to Senhime and an oni herself is revealed to the captains, she and Senhime request that Chizuru join them for her own safety.
