In the OVA series Model Suit Gunpla Builders Beginning G, Haru is the main character who plays a role as a gunpla builder. He operates the GPB-X80 Beginning Gundam while pursuing the title of Gunpla Meister. Haru can be characterized as being compassionate, resolute, and enthusiastic. Following his discovery of virtual gunpla contests, he actively participates in them with great determination to emerge victorious.
