Chou Sei, 楽俊 / 張清

Rakushun, who resembles a rat, is a hanjyuu with whom Youko initially has reservations. However, after he imparts some crucial life lessons to Yoko following her relocation from Japan, he becomes her first trusted companion. Despite his pride in being a hanjyuu and discomfort in human form, Rakushun possesses great intelligence and knowledge, studying at the Daigaku of En. Youko hopes that he will teach her about the world's politics and customs.
