A character in the anime "Kiss x Sis" is known as a moon spirit who wears traditional costumes. She has spent thousands of years in isolation, which has limited her understanding of the human world. Despite this, her purpose throughout the series is to protect Tasuke. To do so, she summons various assistants called hoshigami through a ring. Initially, her efforts cause trouble for Tasuke as she accidentally destroys household objects while trying to keep him safe. As a result, she is banned from attending school with Tasuke. In order to protect him at school, Rishuu is sent by Shaorin. On the first day of school, the character's misguided attempts to shield Tasuke cause him to tell her to leave, stating that he can take care of himself. Later, she apologizes and asks for his permission to protect him from loneliness. The manga continues with her developing feelings for Tasuke and becoming jealous when Kaori appears in episode 12. In the final episodes, she finally realizes what she feels for Tasuke. Her given name might be Shao, with "-rin" being an affectionate suffix. It is revealed in volume 5 of the manga that people who are casually familiar with her think of her as an ordinary person and her family name (last name) is "Shugogetten".
