The main character of the story is named Zorori, who possesses exceptional disguise skills and is determined to become the King of Pranks in order to make his deceased mother proud. Despite being self-proclaimed as a "Prankster Genius," he only assists others if it benefits him personally. However, beneath this exterior lies a kind heart, causing him to often solve other people's problems without expecting anything in return. He typically wears a sandogasa and a striped cape resembling an Edo period gambler, but transforms into a Zorro-like costume with the letters "ZZ" on his chest during critical moments. Zorori is highly skilled at creating machines to suit his needs and enjoys eating anpan as his favorite food.
