In Kodocha's second season, Akitos homeroom teacher is named Sengoku. He has a strong dislike for Akito and consistently bullies him without remorse. Sengoku believes that Akito is inherently violent and cannot be reformed. Conversely, Akito sees Sengoku as an unjust and spiteful person who he refuses to appease. Despite hitting Akito at one point, Sengoku denies it and attempts multiple times to expel him from school. As a result, Sengoku becomes the main antagonist in Kodocha's second season.
