The protagonist of KonoSuba is a sixteen-year-old Japanese teenager who became reclusive after being heartbroken over his childhood friend during middle school. After dying from acute stress reaction, he was sent to a parallel reality where Aqua joined him. Kazuma is classified as an Adventurer, the lowest rank in the class system, which allows him to acquire skills from other classes at a higher cost. Through this ability, he learns basic abilities such as stealing, archery, monster detection, and magic.
