Kuesu is a member of another family known for defeating demons, and she seeks an alliance with the Amakawa family through marriage. She claims that Yuuto's grandfather had promised their union, and her aggression and assertiveness are evident in her kissing him twice in front of Himari to establish her claim. Unlike Yuuto, Kuesu is trained in her heritage and capable of fighting. The Jinguuji family is viewed as heretics by the other 10 families due to their use of Western magic. It is rumored that Kuesu's magical abilities are as strong as those of ten individuals.
