The story revolves around Eleanor, the daughter of a viscount who falls in love with William. Although she is shy, Eleanor tries to catch William's attention through various means such as inviting him to tea parties at her mansion and visiting his mansion to see the roses bloom. Despite being nervous around William, Eleanor finally mustered up the courage to tell him her feelings during an opera performance. She is always accompanied by her faithful servant Annie, who has been taking care of her since she was a child.
