Bart, バット

At 15 years old, Bat is an orphan who lived in a small village run by Toyo. When food supplies dwindled, he left the village so that the younger children could have his share. While traveling, he was captured and imprisoned at Lins Village, where he met Kenshiro. Impressed with Kenshiro's strength, Bat tagged along with him, hoping to find food more easily. Initially portrayed as a selfish nuisance, Bat later revealed that his departure from the village was motivated by his desire to protect others. Despite being cowardly and careless at times, Bat has a kind nature and is willing to help in emergencies. He excels at fixing machines and driving, using a dune buggy as transportation during the first part of the manga. Kenshiro sees Bat as an older brother, while Bat looks up to him like a younger sibling.
