Pallapalla, or para para in the dub, is a character from sailor moon who goes by the name magician of balancing balls. in the manga and anime, she is depicted as a blue-haired child with ball-based attacks. she has been described as naive, emotional, and childish, but also clever at times. her counterpart in the senshi series is sailor mercury, and her color is blue. in the manga, pallapalla is the second eldest sister among the quartet while in the anime she is the youngest. she has been named after the greek goddess pallas athena, and also after an asteroid called pallas. despite being childish, pallapalla has shown signs of intelligence and danger, as seen when she ripped off her own doll's head to cure its toothache in one episode. in general, pallapalla prefers attacking groups rather than individuals, often using ball-like lemures or dolls as part of her attacks.
