Takuto tatsunagi is the central character in cardfight!! vanguard's second season. as the organizer of the asia circuit tournament and chairman of the tatsugami foundation, he holds significant power within his financial group as well as hosting the event. in episode 57 of the anime, takuto made a brief appearance during a flashback of ren's history while watching him engage in a vanguard battle. he later reappeared in episode 64 and possessed rekka, explaining the past of the world of cray and the ongoing conflict between the royal paladin and shadow paladin clans. in season 2, takuto will make another appearance where he meets aichi for the first time. additionally, he is also present in the manga but appears much taller alongside ultra rare.
