Mirei Yajima  

Yaji, 矢島 美怜

Yajima is a female student in her first year who joined genshiken after seeing an ogiue's manga poster drawing demonstration. she identifies as a fujoshi but isn't as open about it like yoshitake. she has a stocky build and often wears men's clothing. although she is aware of hato's cross-dressing, she struggles to accept it despite knowing the whole story behind it. additionally, yajima works as one of ogiue's paid assistants on her professional manga, where she helps with erasing pencil lines and general page cleanup.
