Koshou is an influential leader of the Shisui rebels who possesses great charisma. Despite believing that their chances of defeating Shoukou are slim, he encourages his followers to join him in battle against the enemy. When Youko suggests sparing Shoukou's life, Koshou supports her decision. Even though the fire in Takuhou, the capital city of Shisui, is a trap for his fighters, Koshou insists that they must be rescued to ensure the success of their rebellion. When Youko asks what he desires as a reward for his service, Koshou requests that she secure a university spot for his brother Sekki.
