Izuna was an old friend of Kagura's who also used to be engaged to Isayama Yomi. He employed spirit foxes as spies and combatants. Despite his perverted behavior towards Kagura, which often resulted in painful consequences for him, he was a member of the information department. Beneath his flippant and helpless demeanor, Izuna possessed significant power, capable of engaging in battle with Yomi on equal terms. He had extensive knowledge about spirits and excelled at constructing barriers. Although he treated Kagura like a younger sister, aside from attempting to grope her, he displayed concern for Kensuke. As Yomis former fiance, Izuna still harbored feelings for her.
