Espio is a chameleon who specializes in ninjutsu, with expertise in stealth and invisibility. He's 16 years old and known as the calmest member of the Chaotix team. Despite his quiet demeanor, he's highly self-disciplined and confident in his abilities. Espio enjoys training and pushing himself to the limit. Although he isn't afraid of danger, he often seeks it out to showcase his ninja skills. With extensive knowledge of ninjutsu and the ability to turn invisible, Espio is a formidable opponent. However, even with all that training, a simple sneeze could reveal his location. Espio made an appearance in Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games as a referee. Louis Bedigian from GameZone described Espio as thinking he was part hedgehog due to his speed boosting and invisibility abilities.
