In ancient times on jaya, there lived a young man named seto who was part of the shandian tribe. he was an intelligent and inquisitive boy with dreams of becoming a great warrior like calgara, defending his people. however, he was also affected by a plague that ravaged his tribe. fortunately, montblanc norland managed to cure it before it was too late. from the beginning, seto recognized norland as an honest, wise, and good man, and he defended him and his crew from the wrath of their people. later on, seto married calgara's daughter musse. years later, seto and calgara were seen entering the ruins to ring the bell, while calgara went to ring it, seto fed norla who had made herself at home in the ruins. suddenly, an earthquake occurred, causing seto and calgara to flee to the village. the knock-up stream then lifted their island into the sky, allowing seto to live out his childhood dream of defending his people against the skypieans who sought to take their land away from them.
