Higure Akiyama

Akiyama Higure was an anime-only character who taught at Juuban Municipal Junior High School as a home economics teacher, where she instructed Usagi, Naru, and Ami. Although engaged to be married, she lacked confidence in herself. Her self-doubt led her to enter a wedding dress making contest, which ultimately resulted in her becoming the victim of Nephrites after purchasing fabric with a Nephrite mark suggested by Masato Sanjouin. This caused her to become obsessed with finishing the dress and improving her appearance, leading her to behave abrasively and rudely, even throwing out her fiancé during his visit. After completing the dress, she sabotaged the contest and passed out, allowing the Youma Widow to be released. Following the ordeal, Akiyama returned to her more meeker self and married her fiance.
