An individual associated with Section 2, Henriettas guardian, and Jean's younger brother. Unlike other siblings, Jose genuinely embodies the name by caring for Henrietta as if she were his protective brother and showing great interest in her well-being. As a result, he strives to minimize Henriettas conditioning whenever possible. In the past, Jose had a sister who admired him deeply and aspired to join the Carabinieri when she grew older, with the intention of safeguarding him. She resembled Henrietta somewhat and tragically passed away in a terrorist attack that may have contributed to her drowning. Due to his sisters death, Jose developed a profound appreciation for life and an intense hatred towards terrorism.
