Nebraska was the first member of the Nebraska family introduced in Trigun. He and his father escaped from prison, where they were serving a one hundred year sentence. The city council of Voldoor hired them to capture Vash, a notorious criminal. Nebraska is an enormous being with a steam vent on his back and a cybernetic right arm that can launch his fist with incredible force. His punches are said to be devastating and cannot be avoided or deterred. However, Vash proves this wrong by dodging Nebraska's attacks and writing notes on his hand before it returns. Later, Vash throws five bullets at the hand, causing it to miss its target and destroying the launching mechanism in the process.
