Marion Fiesse  

A young man from a French school who falls deeply in love with an older woman named Sara. Despite knowing their relationship couldn't last due to her marriage to Count Cluny, he stays with her for some time. He rejects the advances of Ledania and Claude because of his feelings for Sara. However, when she ends things, Marion is devastated not only for himself but also for the loss of Claude, who took his own life after being rejected by him. Injured while trying to stop a duel between Lind and Jacques, he returns home.
