Shigure  

Shigure is a demon surgeon who implants Hiei with his Jagan eye and trains him as a swordsman. Despite charging customers with unusual requests like stories or promises instead of money, he warns Hiei that other demons will try to kill him once they learn about the weakened state caused by the Jagan eye. After Hiei leaves, Shigure asks him not to reveal Yukina's relationship to Hiei, though Hiei does not plan on it. Later, in the Makai tournament, Shigure fights Hiei for the 76th position under Mukuro's command but loses his head. He is later saved by Mukuro and then battles Kurama in the tournament but ultimately loses.
