The elderly man who is Seizous only companion greets Fuu when she arrives at his house, but initially hesitates to provide any information until he recognizes her identity. He then stands outside while Fuu converses with her father before reassuring her when Kariya emerges. Despite his initial reluctance, the retainer intervenes and shields Fuu from interference when the assassin enters the house. Although Kariya defeats him easily, knocking him unconscious in the process, the retainer's actions ultimately contribute to Fuu's safety during the decisive battle. Afterwards, he speaks with Fuu again, offering comfort and support as she grieves for her father. He also helps her bury her father and care for Jin and Mugen while they recover from their injuries.
