In season 2, Ian Vashtis' spouse was introduced as the head of the Celestial Beings R&D department. Many people remarked on how young she appeared compared to Ian. She assumed responsibility for delivering new technology to Ptolemaios II during their battles with the A-Laws, replacing Ian in that role.
