During a test mission at Side 2, Gates Capa served as a wingmate for Rosamia Badam while testing out their Baund Doc prototypes. While piloting prototype unit one with Loren Nakamoto as the on-board operator, Gates pursued Kamille Bidan and Rosamia into one of the colonies. In the ensuing fight, Gates engaged Kamille in close combat before bringing Rosamia back. Later, Gates escorted the further-enhanced Rosamia piloting her MRX-010 Psyco Gundam Mk-II while she searched for the Argama. However, during this time, Gates tried to defend Dogosse Giar from Reccoa Londes' squadron. Tragically, Rosamia was eventually killed, causing Gates to suffer a mental lapse before the destruction of Dogosse-Gier. The fate of Gates Capa remains unknown.
