Maya, who stands at roughly the same height as Rio with similar body measurements, serves as the primary sniper and firearms user on the team. Despite being highly skilled in shooting, she often feels frustrated due to limited opportunities to use her weapons. This frustration can sometimes lead to feelings of sexual dissatisfaction. For Maya, larger guns bring more satisfaction, whether it's sexual or otherwise. She has been known to say that if she doesn't get enough chances to shoot, she may quit the police force and become a mercenary. In Burn Up eXcess, it is revealed that Maya's father heads a crime syndicate in Osaka, making her an outsider among her teammates due to her choice to be a police officer.
