Dren was Char Aznables second-in-command when he first led an attack on Side 7. He remained loyal to him throughout their pursuit of the White Base until it landed on Earth. Afterward, he continued serving under Char until Garma Zabis death, at which point Char was assigned to command Zeons forces in Belfast. Dren later returned to space and led the Camel Squadron. When the White Base reappeared, Char enlisted Drens patrol squadron to aid him in battle against them. During the conflict, the RX-78 Gundam struck Drens Musai with its beam saber, causing a massive opening that sent him hurtling into space and to his demise.
