Kenjirou Shirabu is a second-year setter from Shiratorizawa Academy who has been praised for his sense of security, stability, and solid hands. When receiving serves are cut off, he gives a high set that effectively utilizes the strength of his wing spikers. Although he respects his seniors, Kenjirou tends to argue with Goshiki, a first-year player. Despite appearing serious and composed, Kenjirou is prone to getting angry at almost every move made by his opponents. However, he has the ability to quickly regain control of himself.
Kenjirou did not receive a sports scholarship to attend Shiratorizawa Academy but took an exam to gain admission in hopes of playing with tall and strong players like Ushijima, whom he admired in junior high. He was previously teammates with Kawatabi from Wakutani South in middle school.
