Gohei Takeda

Daisukes grandfather Takeda Gohei was an accomplished hunter with expertise in training bear dogs. He had trained both Shiro and Riki, as well as Gins grandfather during the beginning of the series. Five years ago, while out hunting with Shiros grandfather, they were ambushed by Akakabuto, a powerful monster bear that tore off Goheis left ear. In retaliation, Gohei fired at the bear and blinded it by shooting out its right eye. Despite his skills as a hunter, Gohei lost Shiro due to the encounter with the monster bear. Later on, he also lost Riki.
