Kanedaichi is presented as a solitary individual who has been residing in an aged transmission tower for three years. Although he claims to have purchased the structure and has lived there ever since, it was actually Superfly, his own stand, that trapped him within its walls. Despite this, Kanedaichi constructed a comfortable dwelling while planning his escape. In order to deceive Josuke Higashikata and avoid any potential danger, he appeared calm and composed, allowing Josuke to enter the tower without concern for an enemy stand. Over time, Kanedaichi developed callouses on his hands that enabled him to handle various objects with ease.
