Taka-chan is best friends with Yuko. They met in 5th grade when they discovered a shared secret about raising cats on school grounds. Takako is confident, sincere, and cares deeply for her friendship with Yuko. Although she has some self-doubt, she hides it behind an arrogant demeanor. Takako is open and honest in all her interactions. Initially, she had feelings for Hiroshi but later developed strong emotions for a different boy. Taka-chan stands up for the more reserved Yuko and knows her better than anyone else.
