Tsubasa Shiina

Tsubasa is a transfer student from Asashiro Junior High who passed entrance exams with high scores and has a high IQ. Despite his appearance, many people mistake him for a girl. However, Tsubasa is actually quite arrogant, blunt, sarcastic, and often fierce. He considers himself a genius and believes that soccer comes naturally to him, making it difficult for others to beat him. Though he is only slightly taller than Shō, he is a great fighter and superb leader. His looks and attitude have made him both enemies and fans, including Naoki Inoue, Gosuke Hata, and their friends. After saving them from bully truck drivers, they realized that they were all alike and decided to follow Shiina. Tsubasa later became the leader of the Hiba Soccer Varsity team and his uniform number is 4. During the Senbatsu Training Camp, he formed a closer bond with Shō and gained a better understanding of him. As a result, he became a regular defender on the Junior Senbatsu Team.
