Ayumi Narusawa leads a team of highly skilled military personnel known as the Hounds, who specialize in combating phantom cats. Her group is widely regarded as the most effective at dealing with these creatures and is often called upon to handle disturbances first. However, Kagura Security's methods are similar in that they typically destroy entire areas just to eliminate one phantom cat. Despite this, Ayumi's team remains committed to stopping the phantom cats while minimizing damage to property. When a clear shot is available, Ayumi orders her team to open fire on the phantom cat to prevent it from regenerating. She ensures that her group stays together in order to concentrate their fire on the target and maximize its effectiveness. While Hounds' bullets can harm phantom cats, they only kill them when completely destroyed. Ayumi believes Youichi Taba should leave Kagura Security and join the Hounds instead. Her preferred weapon is a SIG-Sauer P-228.
